LTY SA, an independent insurance broker and technology company based in Sion, is welcoming Akiden Ventures SA into its capital as a minority shareholder. This is according to a press release published on Startupticker.ch on 16 October 2026. According to the release, this backing is intended to allow LTY to continue its expansion in French-speaking and German-speaking Switzerland, without changing its local advisory model.

A minority stake, not a takeover

The press release is clear on governance: Betim Ramosaj, the founder, remains the reference shareholder and continues to run LTY. According to the release, the company retains its advisory independence, its founder and its teams, and clients' usual advisers remain unchanged.

This entry into the capital should, however, be distinguished from a fundraising round in the usual sense. A minority stake means that an investor holds a share of the capital without controlling it. It can involve an injection of fresh money into the company, or result from the purchase of existing shares. The sources specify neither the amount invested, nor the share of the capital held by Akiden Ventures, nor the form of the transaction. Nor do they mention a valuation. On this basis, it is therefore not possible to put a figure on the transaction.

The model of an insurance broker equipped with technology

LTY presents itself as being at the crossroads of technology and insurance brokerage. According to the figures in the press release, published in October 2026 without further detail on the period covered, the company has 15 employees and serves more than 10,000 private clients and more than 700 businesses. It relies on a proprietary digital platform whose client portals are independent of the insurance companies.

The press release also traces the company's growth. Since its founding in 2013, LTY has taken over 4 "large-scale" broker portfolios: RL Libery, Assurtag Sàrl, PartenaGroup Sàrl and SPS Sàrl. In 2025, it launched a business version of its solution. The release describes it as a "successful" launch, without providing any figure to support this.

"We have proven the model. With Akiden, we are rolling it out across Switzerland, without changing what makes the difference: advisers our clients know," says Betim Ramosaj, founder and CEO of LTY SA, in the press release.

An artificial intelligence module in development

According to the press release, LTY is developing its own artificial intelligence module, in partnership with Idiap and with the support of The Ark Foundation since 2026. The stated aim is to be "as proactive as possible in risk management". The company wants this technology to be developed in Switzerland and integrated into its ecosystem, which includes its CRM, its ERP and its client platforms. This is an ongoing project: the release gives neither a timetable nor results.

The press release also mentions that the Centre de cautionnement et de financement (CCF) has supported LTY's development since 2023, without detailing the nature of this support.

What Akiden Ventures brings

Founded in 2016 by Steve Savioz, Akiden Ventures invests, according to the press release, "capital and time alongside managers". Its role with LTY is to support a geographical expansion in French-speaking and German-speaking Switzerland.

"LTY has built a profitable model and a platform that works. Our role is to accelerate it and support it over the long term, with the necessary resources and time, so that it can establish itself throughout Switzerland," says Steve Savioz. The profitability mentioned is a claim by the investor: the press release does not publish any financial results that would make it possible to verify it.

In short, the announcement concerns an intention to expand nationally, backed by a new minority shareholder. The pace of this rollout, the priority target regions and the resources committed remain, at this stage, unspecified by the sources.
